Perfection in a glass. And no, this time around it’s not a cocktail. With berries in season, this Mixed Berry Mousse is the perfect make-ahead dessert for either yourself, or for when you have dinner guests coming over. Mixed berries and cream. Can’t go wrong with that! This berry mousse is creamy, velvety, and just simply delicious.
The wonderful thing is that it is made in advance. When you’re done putting it together, put the glasses in the fridge to allow the mousse to set up a bit and all you have to do before serving is to garnish it with a dollop of whipped cream and a berry. The only challenging part is that you’ll have to stay away from it until it’s serving time. That’s a tough one.
Click here for the recipe to this glass of goodness. And for this one, absolutely include the children in the head count, they’ll love it.
So, when berries are in season, enjoy them. Let the kids enjoy them in popsicles, the adults in cocktail for the adults and everyone can sit down together for this berry mousse!
Until next time,
Savor food, savor family, savor life.

My name is Marieke. I live in Los Angeles with my 5 boys: my husband, 2 toddler boys and 2 Australian Shepherds. The cat feels she’s the Queen, but she’s got delusions of grandeur. The kitchen is my haven and the occasional glass of “Mommy Juice” keeps me sane in the midst of all the testosterone around here.
