In August last year, I subscribed to a weekly organic produce delivery. Every week, I receive a crate with fresh and organically grown fruits and vegetables from local farms. In other words: fresh out of the ground, or from the tree with minimal time spent in-transit.
Ever since I started receiving these weekly deliveries with seasonal produce, I have come face to face with some vegetables that I had no clue what to do with. Chard was one of them. Honestly, it just isn’t a vegetable that I would pick off the shelf at the grocery store myself. Now that I have had the chance to officially “meet” and “greet” Chard, I can tell you that it truly is delicious. At least in this recipe.
Click here to find out more about the recipe that makes Chard to hand-in-hand with green olives, raisins & goat cheese. Strong flavors that blend perfectly and make one healthy and delicious dish!
Until next time,
Savor food, savor family, savor life.

My name is Marieke. I live in Los Angeles with my 5 boys: my husband, 2 toddler boys and 2 Australian Shepherds. The cat feels she’s the Queen, but she’s got delusions of grandeur. The kitchen is my haven and the occasional glass of “Mommy Juice” keeps me sane in the midst of all the testosterone around here.
